The culture of safety at work is being promoted in schools through competition promoted by the local health authorities in the Tuscany region

The Regional Safety Training Center (Safe), of the ASL Tuscany Centro, lead structure for the three Tuscan health companies, has launched a call for tenders, promoted by the Tuscany region, in agreement with the Inail Regional Directorate for Tuscany and with the Regional School Office for Tuscany (USR), with the aim of helping young people from Tuscan schools gain knowledge and skills and generally a health and safety education in the living, study and working environment.

Two-year interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary pedagogical projects are awarded for the promotion of a culture of safety and health at work and in the living environment, carried out with reference to the school years 2022/2023 and 2023/2024. The contributions made available through the announcement amount to a total of 223 thousand euros for the primary, secondary and secondary schools.

The projects may be presented by individual schools or by networks of schools or schools in connected form from the same address, and may also be carried out in collaboration with bodies with expertise in the field of safety and health at work and / or in life, with Associations, companies and social partners. The Prevention, Hygiene and Safety at Work Service (PISL) of the South East Tuscany ASL is provided to schools in the three provinces of Arezzo, Grosseto and Siena for support, assistance, information activities.
