The agreement between the Liguria region and Anci was renewed in order to support communal activities

The renewal of the agreement between the region and the Anci was signed today at the headquarters of the Liguria region to support the joint development of activities of common interest for the benefit of the local authorities.

The agreement, which was approved by the Regional Council on 7 February, allows the agreement, which was made for the first time in 2010 and subsequently renewed several times, also in the light of the amendment of the legal status of the association, the creation of agreements between the two instances. to carry out a wide range of municipal activities, including the most current ones, such as the relevant urban regeneration, the silver economy and the implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

“This document goes in the direction of maximum institutional cooperation – says the President of the Liguria Region Giovanni Toti – to solve administrative problems together, to provide our technicians and experts, especially for small communities that need more support and. Related to the problems of local finance and budget, the promotion of mechanisms and tools for the realization of economies of scale, civil rights, social inclusion or for assistance in the governance of integrated territorial projects. In this way – he concludes – will the region and the municipalities are working more and more closely together for the development of our territory ”.

Thanks to the renewal of the protocol, Anci Liguria will be able to continue cooperating with the region to issue the basis, on the regional territory, of programs, projects and calls issued by the region or passing through the region. The protocol therefore allows the association to be always present and engaged, both formally and substantively, in all matters and emergencies affecting the local Ligurian authorities.
