Sensory impairment, Locatelli: “11.5 million bank opened”

The promotion of the school inclusion of children with sensory disabilities attending schools of all levels in Lombardy is the aim of the regional appeal sought by the region. The call, activated on a proposal from the Department of Family, Social Solidarity, Disability and Equal Opportunities, led by Alessandra Locatelli, provides 11.5 million euros.


“This is an important provision by which the Lombardy region guarantees the provision of services to support the scholastic inclusion of students with sensory disabilities throughout the region. The aim – says Locatelli – is to find inclusive ways favors that increasingly meet the needs and difficulties of any child or student with sensory impairments. They can participate in the call for the first time:
– Students with sensory disabilities in old age;
– Parent of student with sensory impairment;
– the educator / support administrator of the eligible person.

Instead, they can submit a renewal of the application:
– Students with sensory disabilities in old age;
– Parent of student with sensory impairment (same as last year);
– the tutor / support administrator of the eligible person (same as last year) who has already submitted an application for the school year 2021/2022.
