Dear students, Dear parents and teachers,
I would like to send you all a short greeting at the end of my stay.
What is most striking in high school Vian it is the great impetus of the whole community in defining educational and training processes. The Vian it stands for the primacy of cultural excellence in the territory, for its vocation for innovation and diversification of educational offerings.
I am happy to accompany and direct the school towards the important goals that have been achieved: the robot bow, the next sports bow, the consolidation of Cambridge, the linguistics with the Spanish language at the Anguillara site; I am also leaving the school with two major PON projects: the cabling of the headquarters building and the acquisition of Smart Board of Directors which are currently being installed at the two locations of the institute.
I am also very pleased to inform you that, thanks to the fruitful cooperation with the local authorities, we have been given new places in the Anguillara office, classrooms, which will allow us to carry out further school and extracurricular activities from September onwards.
Last but not least, these days we are completing the administrative procedures for the creation of “green classrooms” for teachers and the socialization and external equipment of the Anguillara and Bracciano offices.
A regent would never have been able to do all this if there was not a cohesive and proactive school community that supports and is aware of the value of the school in person and in the social context.
I would like to thank everyone for this, from the Presidency staff, coordinated by the Vice President Prof. Carosi, always attentive and sensitive to everyone’s requests, to the Secretariat, led by the DSGA Ms. Vilma Piccioni; from the teaching staff, the compass of the quality of the didactic action, to the school council, chaired by Madame De Michele with far-sighted competence.
I thank the teachers who are actively involved in school projects and organizational processes (speakers, class and department coordinators, instrumental functions, co-speakers, among others).
I thank the school colleagues for their patient work for the health and safety of the school.
I thank the parents with whom I had the opportunity to calmly and constructively discuss the definition of an idea of a democratic, inclusive, innovative school, from which we shared hopes and values.
My dear greetings go out to the girls and boys.
I appreciate your healthy obstinacy to continue the ideas you believe in, as well as your constant demand for confrontation with the adult world on topics that are open to question for the common good, for future generations.
I hope that your ability to view events in a critical and non-polemical way will never fail to keep you on the line of proposal and dialogue. You have shown great maturity during the most difficult years of our school, which we hope is behind us.
The results of this engagement are not negligible when you consider the improvement in the academic results that we have observed and the excellent results of the graduates from recent years.
I wish each of you to find answers, clarify perspectives, understand what your place in the world will be like and, also thanks to the school, have all the tools, skills, desire and curiosity to achieve your goals.
I welcome the DS Lucia Lolli who comes to give the lead stability Viansure that the new director will exploit all the potential of this great institute that I had the honor of governing in these intense and beautiful two years.
Ad maiora semper!
