Schools, cuts and series: Report to the Minister – Chronicle

by Lucia Gentili

The province has sent a report to Giorgia Latini, Regional Councilor for Education, on the various issues that mayors have raised to protect the crater’s schools, classes and staff. “Already this week, we will provide the data to update the table with the ministry next,” Latini actually predicted after Tuesday’s meeting with Minister Bianchi and the presidents of the provinces, including Sandro Parcaroli. On Monday, there will be a meeting in the region between the latter and the commissioner. Meanwhile, Laura Sestili, Provincial Counselor in charge of the network and school building, prepared the report: a table in which she and the Coordinating Office for School Education and School Policy highlighted the critical issues raised by the municipalities from the civic areas of the Crater to that of the coastal side. It was sent to Latini, who then sent it to Minister Bianchi with those of the other provinces. The regional school office respected the parameters of Presidential Decree 812009 in the authorization of classes – it is stated in the letter – without considering the extension until 31 December (including the budget law for the financial year 2022). Provisions of Legislative Decree 189 of 2016 with “urgent interventions in favor of populations affected by earthquakes.” In truth, the parameters are even strictly interpreted, where the legislation lowers the boundaries and the formation of classes and presence by students with disabilities; the critique of places that are still insufficient or insufficient is not taken into account due to the persistent post-seismic logistical situation and the additional needs that have arisen to guarantee space for health prevention purposes. comprehensive state institutions, for example, according to the report, the Betti-Boccati di Cameri after, for the high school, four second grades were required, but three were authorized, with the criticality of the school premises due to the earthquake and loss of didactic continuity. A section of infancy was requested by the “Garden of Infancy” at Esanatoglia, but one was granted with reduced hours. At Luzio di San Severino Primary School, three classes were authorized in place of the previous four years, of which two were full-time (42 students) and one full-time with 26 students; at Colbuccaro Primary School, in Corridonia, the first class was not granted (but construction of the new school building is planned). Instead, for the primary school Olimpia di Montefano, in response to the demand for two first grades, an overcrowded accord, with the presence of a student with a disability. The class in front of De Amicis Primary School in Macerata was not activated, while in childhood Rodari was activated instead of four sections three. As far as high schools are concerned, on the other hand, a third class of company information systems in the Matelica headquarters of the ITCG Antinori di Camerino has been cut off. The suppression of first-class Ipsia at the Tolentino site (including for the third year in a row) involves the formation of an articulated class at the San Ginesio site of 30 students plus four H (with disabilities) considering that users, under the specific profile of the transport, does not coincide. Seven first classes were requested from Itis Divini in San Severino, but six were granted; in the Garibaldi of Macerata five first but four authorized (with disabled) and in Bramante-Pannaggi instead of two first, a large class and also here with the presence of students with a disability.
