Pnrr: almost 4 million euros for schools in the Reggio area


More than 3 million and 737 thousand euros are allocated to the provincial territory with the aim of combating early school exchange and educational poverty, thus the inability of minors to learn, experiment, develop skills, talents and aspirations. This figure represents 12% of the total 30 million who arrived in the Emilia – Romagna region: this figure represents the percentage of students in the Reggio region proportional to the regional total.

In addition, there are 9 secondary schools, 2 in Reggio Emilia and 7 in the province: San Martino in Rio, Poviglio, Campagnola, Castelnovo di sotto, Gualtieri, Fabbrico and Correggio.
The criteria for the distribution between the regions of a total of 500 million euros were available: the rate of early exit from the education and training system in the age group 18-24 (ELET Index – Early Leavers from Education and Training), for 65 % of the score; the number of female pupils and pupils of the lower and upper secondary in the reference region, for 20%; the attendance rate of the foreign population, for 5%; the rate of the population without secondary education in the age group between 25 and 64, for 5%; the rate of households with five or more members, for 5%. After this regional division, the resources are then divided between the middle and higher state educational institutes present in each region, according to two criteria: the first, which weighs 70% on the evaluation, the learning fragility rate is calculated by Invalsi , or the so-called implicit dispersion which is the percentage of students who have achieved a very low result in both subjects, Italian and mathematics. The second, 30% of the assessment, is the number of female students and students enrolled in the educational institution.
