These are some of the topics that will be discussed during the conference scheduled for Tuesday (May 31st) at 9.30am in the Tobino area of the Palazzo Ducale in Lucca. Rendezvous – Title School and training as engines of strategic development of the territory: challenges and opportunities – aims to illustrate the results of a study on the mechanisms for the selection of high schools, promoted by the province of Lucca and the Polo Tecnico Professionale For.tu.na, in collaboration with comprehensive and higher schools and the area.
The conference will be opened by the Provincial Councilor responsible for Education and Equal Opportunities Maria Teresa Leonewhich followed the interventions of Marialuisa Giannini by Polo For.tu.na, and by Maria Chiara Montomoli (Tuscany Region). Also present at the Palazzo Ducale is the Counselor of the Tuscany Region for Training, Education and University Alessandra Nardini.
The session provides an opportunity for professionals, but not only, to initiate a discussion process on the school of the future in our functional province, ranging from the identification of actions to make the territorial school and training leadership system more effective. the provincial school planning makes it more divided. But it is also the intention to encourage working groups with institutions and actors to discuss some of the key challenges facing the education and training system in the coming years, such as the demographic decline.the qualification of human resources, in particular as regards digital skills, the increase of the foreign population.
The meeting is open to all actors who wish to participate Reflection shared training offerings across the leadership system, including operational proposals for the continuation of reflection and for public action.
During the meeting, the main results of the research will be presented (by Lorenzo Maraviglia, Lucca Province Statistics Office) and the data from the Regional Observatory on early school exchanges and the regional management system (by Sandra Traquandi, Tuscany Education and Training) .
