The conference entitled “WOMEN and SPORT – TESTIMONIALS AND PERSPECTIVES” was held on Monday 16 May, strongly supported by the CONI Trust of the Municipality of Molfetta and organized by the ACSI BAT and Molfetta Committee, with the active cooperation of the “Licei Einstein- da Vinci” by Molfetta and the ASD “Don Tonino Bello Molfetta” APS Culturale. Its focus is on women’s sport, which is being evaluated at a territorial but also national level, and in particular on school-age sports. An evening enriched by the lucrative interventions of the speakers present at the conference: by Marinella FalcaSilver at the 2004 Athens Olympics and rhythmic gymnastics coaches, a Elena vun Liddo swimmer, registered for the Carabinieri Sports Group and for the Circolo Canottieri Aniene Rome, fourth at the recent Olympic Games in Tokyo, passed by Rossella Scardignoformer European and Italian table tennis champion and current national coach, Lucia ParrotCoach of the ASD Olimpia Club Molfetta of Athletics, e Loredana LezocheCEO of Molfetta Calcio and head of the company’s women sector.
Speaker and moderator of the event was the lawyer. Manuela Magistro. The teacher took care of the honors Giuseppina BassI, the teacher “Licei Einstein-da Vinci” of Molfetta who on the one hand highlighted the importance of sport in school age and on the other hand the valuable role of the school in the promotion of sporting activity. “Today in agreement with the Ministry – he declared – it is possible to better support athletes through personalized curricula that guarantee their school education and connection with competitive activities“. The mayor was also present at the conference Tommaso Minervini, Angelo Giliberto Regional President of CONI Puglia, Lorenzo Cellamare CONI Provincial Delegate Bari and Regional Chairman of the Puglia Gymnastics Committee.

At the end of the evening, young athletes were distinguished who excelled in the various sports sectors and the speakers, who set an example of those who did not leave their country but achieved important places and brilliant results on all fronts.
