Increasing excellence with economic incentives for students: Circulars and forms of consent to publish data

The subject of the extension of excellence was introduced in our school by Law 1 of 11 January 2007 and is now governed by an experimental phase by Decree 262 of 29 December 2007. collects the names of deserving students and is published on (Circular 18 of 28 January 2008).

Stimulate and broaden students’ interest in achieving higher levels of cultural and vocational education

The economic incentives awarded to students who have attained levels of excellence in school are not subject to a tax regime as these incentives pursue the general interest purpose of stimulating and disseminating the interests of students to a to achieve higher levels of cultural and vocational training. Who is awarded in the secondary?

For II-level secondary schools, both state and parity schools, the Ministry will reward at the end of the school year and thereafter the publication of data regarding the II-degree state examinations:

  • Students with a score of 100 with honors in the state exam;
  • the winning students of the national and international competitions listed in the annual program for the enhancement of excellence.

Types of irritants

Financial resources are allocated to schools that reward students with one of the following incentives:

  • educational trips and visits to specialist centers;
  • economic benefits;
  • Participation in training initiatives organized by national scientific centers with a view to the quality of school education;
  • Benefits and accreditations for access to libraries, museums, institutions and cultural sites;
  • Entrée an Training Stagen;
  • other forms of incentive established after agreements and agreements with public and private subjects.

National Register of Excellence

The National Institute for Documentation, Innovation and Education Research (Indire) publishes and updates every year the names of deserving students in the National Register of Excellence on its website. To improve excellent students, it is essential that schools know how to involve their students in high-quality study paths and offer them opportunities to deepen their individual preparation and comparison with other national and international schools. Legislation and financial resources

The competitions set out in the Ministerial Decree n. 152 of 27 October 2020 of the Ministry of Education are divided into five bands on the basis of the requirements set out in the prospectus referred to herein. . For individual contests, or sections of contests:

  • up to 60 students for each competition in bracket “A”;
  • up to 30 students for each competition in bracket “B”;
  • up to 20 students for each competition in bracket “C”;
  • up to 10 students for each competition in bracket “D”;
  • up to 10 students for each competition in bracket “E”.

The competition for groups

For competitions, or sections of competitions, for groups:

  • up to 60 students for each competition in bracket “A”;
  • up to 30 students for each competition in bracket “B”;
  • up to 20 students for each competition in bracket “C”;
  • up to 10 students for each competition in bracket “D”;
  • up to 10 students for each competition in bracket “E”.

Without prejudice to the fact that all students, the ex-aequo and the respective merit ranking are included among the beneficiaries and, in such cases, the number of beneficiaries of a contest may exceed the maximum quantity indicated above. Students who have won prizes at official International Olympic Games, in which each country participates with a fixed number of national representatives, will be considered in addition to these maximum quantities.
