After numerous editions in the regions of Emilia-Romagna, Marche and Abruzzo, this year the Digi a Lode project of the Hera Group has also been extended to Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Lombardy and Puglia and ensures the awarding of different schools every four months.
The sums of the multi-utilities, allocated on the basis of specific classifications drawn up at the end of each quarter, are intended to fund school digitization projects, which can be independently selected by the institutions according to specific needs.
In Emilia-Romagna, Marche and Abruzzo, deliveries of prices for 95 thousand euros are currently underway for the first 38 winning schools in the first quarter of 2021/2022, 2,500 euros for each.
The first edition of the project in the territories of Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia led to the awarding of 28 award-winning schools.
With Digi and Lode, all citizens can contribute to the winning of their city’s schools: Activate only the digital services provided by the Hera Group free of charge. The resulting points are divided between the primary and secondary schools, public and equal, by the municipality of residence of the person who activated the service.
Digi and Lode support education, innovation, territorial development and environmental protection. This contributes to the achievement of five objectives of the UN 2030 Agenda: Quality Education, Sustainable Cities and Communities, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, Partnership for Objectives, Responsible Consumption and Production.
In total, since the start of the project, with Digi and Lode, the Hera Group has already donated 375,000 Euros to the winning schools in the areas served in Emilia-Romagna, Marche and Abruzzo. Prices were intended for school digitization projects, mainly for the purchase of touch monitors, interactive multimedia tablets, video projectors, notebooks and tablets, electronic microscopes, three-dimensional design training courses, PCs, webcams, 3D printers and lasers, USB sticks. and SIM for data connection.
