The award ceremony of the Santa Maria della Pieve School of Castelfranco Veneto was held today, which for the first quarter of the school year 21/22 was one of the winners of Digi and Lode, the Ascotrade – Hera Group initiative supporting digitalisation. 2,500 euros to the five winning schools in the first quarter
The competition, which has been launched for the first time in the territories served by the Hera Group for the 21/22 edition, also for the first time by Ascotrade, awarded 5 winning schools with a total prize money of 12,500 Euros for the first quarter . In fact, each school received 2,500 euros for the implementation of digital innovation projects that improve the didactic proposal of young students. For the entire school year 21/22, Ascotrade will distribute prizes for a total of 25,000 Euros.
For the Santa Maria della Pieve School, the symbolic award was presented by the Director General of Ascotrade, Filippo Boraso and the Council for Research and Innovation of the Municipality of Castelfranco Veneto, Gianfranco Giovine to the teacher Elisa Paccagnella and the director of the Institute, Don Paolo Marconato. The children of the third and fourth grade also took part in the ceremony. The proceeds will be used to buy new laptops that students at technology stations with LANs have recently set up at the institute.
There is time until May 31st to win five more schools
The competition foresees the awarding of different schools every quarter and is still active until 31 May 2022. For the second quarter, the games are still open to the schools of the municipalities that have not yet won: Activate only the digital Services that Ascotrade offers are available free of charge. The resulting points are divided between the primary and secondary schools, public and equal, by the municipality of residence of the person who activated the service. It is possible to indicate a preferred school, in which case the points are fivefold. Around 178,000 digital services activated in four months
In the first four months of 2021/2022, approximately 178 thousand digital services were activated by the Hera Group of customers. In particular for Ascotrade alone, there were about 8,000 requests for electronic billing and over 4,000 subscriptions to online services.
375 thousand euros already distributed for school digitalization projects
In total, since the start of the project, with Digi and Lode, the Hera Group has already donated 375,000 Euros to the winning schools in the areas. Prices were intended for school digitization projects, mainly for the purchase of touch monitors, interactive multimedia tablets, video projectors, notebooks and tablets, electronic microscopes, three-dimensional design training courses, PCs, webcams, 3D printers and lasers, USB sticks. and SIM for data connection.
